Burundi Staff from Ministry of Agriculture getting experiential training on Feed quality analysis at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Animal Production

Ms Manirakiza Isidonie and Mr Nimbona Felix, from Burundi, the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock and National Veterinary Laboratory are undergoing a one month experiential training at the Department of animal production, in the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Nairobi. The fellows have been working with experienced laboratory technologist; Mr. Benjamin Kyalo Mbondo, Ms Ann Kimende, Mr. Samuel Githiwa.

Few days ago The Department had a privillage to host students from Ikaatini Secondary School who had visited on educational basis. Their interest of study was in :-

                       1. Animal feed and feed formulation

                       2. Analysis of of animal feeds

                       3. Poultry Keeping 

                       4. Rabbitry 

IBM Quantum Challenge Africa 2021

IBM has launched the IBM Quantum Challenge Africa 2021 and would like to invite you to this very unique opportunity to develop your skills on quantum computing. The challenge is developed by African researchers for Africa, to grow the quantum community and quantum skills on the continent. Participants will be guided on how to apply quantum computing to solve certain problems in the fields of optimization, finance, and chemistry.  Prior training in quantum computing is not required.
