Invitation to apply for a four-week course on efficiency and productivity analysis using a mathematical programming technique, data envelopment analysis (DEA), from 2nd to 28th August 2021

The Department of Agricultural Economics of the University of Nairobi is inviting applications for a four-week course on efficiency and productivity analysis using a mathematical programming technique, data envelopment analysis (DEA), from 2nd to 28th August 2021. The course will mostly be delivered online with pre-recorded lectures and programming demonstrations labs. Virtual interactive sessions with the instructor will be arranged.

Invitation to a virtual lecture on "The Impact of COVID-19 on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights in Africa" on Tuesday 13th July 2021 at 11.00 - 13.00 pm

The School of Law, in partnership with the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria is pleased to host the annual Helen Kanzira Memorial Lecture, 2021 on Tuesday 13th July 2021 at 11.00 - 13.00 Kenyan time (10.00 - 12.00 South African time).  The theme of the virtual lecture is: "Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights in Africa" The lecture commemorates Ms Helen Kanzira, an alumna of University of Pretoria, who died in 2007 following childbirth complications.

The British Council has launched Innovation for African Universities (IAU) Call for network partnerships

The British Council has launched the Innovation for African Universities (IAU) programme aimed at strengthening the capacity of Universities to participate and provide meaningful contributions as key players within the entrepreneurship ecosystem in their respective regions.

The programme will be delivered by a Centre of Excellence consisting of tripartite partners – University of Nairobi, City University of London and Change School London.
