Opportunity for Research Grant Programme to all researchers through the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) with the support of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research

The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is pleased to announce a new TWAS Research Grant Programme, through the support of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Seed Grant for New African Principal Investigators (SG-NAPI). The call for 2021 is now open and will remain open until 27 July 2021.

The University of Nairobi  in collaboration with Cornell University, Food Science and Technology Platform of Kenya (FoSTeP-K), and experts across the African continent invite you to a webinar dubbed ‘office hour’ as a panel of food safety experts clarifies myths, misconceptions and fears of COVID-19 virus being a possible foodborne disease even though there has been no clear evidence to support this misconception. The current session will also discuss mitigation strategies for the food handling and processing practitioners and the general public.

CALL FOR GRANTS APPICATION BY FORD FOUNDATION BY WEDNESDAY 21 ST APRIL 2021

Ford Foundation has released a call on economic recovery post COVID. Due to the requirement for multidisciplinary collaborative teams, interested researchers (staff) are requested to get in touch with the Office of the Director of  Research for support in the  grant’s application process.

Researchers can do this individually or in pre-organized teams.
