After hatching,a day old chick is administered with an intramascular malex Vaccine.

The University of Nairobi 8th edition of the Nairobi Innovation Week 2024. The NIW 2024 will take place on May 8-10, 2024. OHIO State University Global One Health Initiative team visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine among them the Department of Animal Production being one of them on 2nd November 2023.
The team from OSU-GOHI was led by Professor Wondwossen Gebreyes the CEO Global One Health Initiative and accompanied by colleagues from Gondar University, Ethiopia.
Prof Kiarie from the University of Guelph will be visiting the department and he will give a seminar to the staff and students in the department.
