Apply for ongoing Krystle Kabare Scholarship- Masters UoN Programme deadline for applications will be 31 July 2022.

The application process for the 2022 Krystle Kabare Scholarship is now open. The scholarship will award one Kenyan graduate student with disabilities a full academic scholarship to attend the University of Nairobi in September.

Invitation to O3 Plus Project Health and well-being Mt. Kenya Hike Flag Off by the UoN students on 14th-17th July, 2022.

In line with the O3 plus programme implementation, 9 bod students from University of Nairobi and Mount Kenya University have decided to challenge the high altitudes of Mt. Kenya to create awareness on the importance of good health and well-being of young people. 7 of these students are from UoN. The students have gone through rigorous training with the ‘Outdoorer Hiking Academy’ through 6 preparatory hikes to ensure that they have prerequisite resilience to challenge Point Lenana, Mt. Kenya on 14th-17th July, 2022.

UoN WEE Hub adopts Priority Agenda 2022-2025

The Chief Guest, Associate Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Enterprise Prof. Margaret Hutchinson unveiled the Priority Agenda for Women Economic Empowerment and rallied the women delegates to take positions of leadership and decision making as well as be part of resource mobilization, distribution and utilization.

UoN enters into Kshs. 140M partnership to scale Adaptation.

The University of Nairobi signed an agreement with Global Centre on Adaptation (GCA) to scale adaptation efforts in Africa through a project titled, "Enhancing and scaling up climate adaptation for resilient infrastructure in Kenya and the East African region”. The agreement is worth Kshs. 140M will see the University deliver a master class on Climate change and conduct innovative climate change solutions competition among the youth.

UoN Foundation Officially Launched
The University of Nairobi officially launched the University of Nairobi Foundation on Thursday, 30th June 2022 at 5:30 PM at the Great Court. The Foundation is part of the reform agenda the University is implementing aimed at transforming the University into a vibrant, relevant and sustainable University.
