Nkiambuo Brian Ndambuo Postgraduate student from Cameroon undertaking his research on Effects of Supplimentation with Different Levels of a Multi strain Probiotic on Performance of Layer Chicken.

The Department of Animal Production is currently training a student on Public service commission internship cohort 4 from Jomo Kenyatta  University doing Bachelors in Animal Health and production on Animal Nutrition and Animal production.

The Department of Animal Production has Broilers for sale starting Tuesday 24th May, 2022.

Price at KShs. 250 per Kg live weight.

The University of Nairobi will hold the Performance Contracting and Staff Recognition Awards on Wednesday,  March 23, 2022.

Ms Manirakiza Isidonie and Mr Nimbona Felix, from Burundi, the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock and National Veterinary Laboratory are undergoing a one month experiential training at the Department of animal production, in the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Nairobi. The fellows have been working with experienced laboratory technologist; Mr. Benjamin Kyalo Mbondo, Ms Ann Kimende, Mr. Samuel Githiwa.
