The Covid-19 pandemic has had devastating effects on many aspects of global economies. In Africa where agriculture plays a critical role to the livelihoods of many people, the disruptions associated with Covid-19 containment measures such as restricted travel and closure of businesses have necessitated various response mechanisms. In order to take stock of the various coping mechanisms implemented during the last one year and draw lessons for improvement of the adaptive capacity in agricultural value chains and activities, the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Nairobi wishes to host a webinar.
