ICT Centre has organized a training on the Microsoft team Web conferencing platform. This is the platform that is widely used by the Faculties. The University procured a few licenses for Microsoft Zoom for use by large classes due to the prohibitive cost of the Zoom platform licenses. In realization of the challenges that the faculty and students are facing in using Microsoft Team platform and in order to maximize its usage, ICT Centre has organized 5 Days training for members of Academic staff. The training is specifically aimed at ensuring that lecturers are able to easily use the Microsoft Teams platform to mount classes, prepare and engage with students through class materials and to give assignments/exercises, create breakaway sessions, etc. with ease. After this, students will also undergo similar training aimed at sharpening their skills to use MS Teams for classroom discussions.
