The Department of Animal Production has a staff welfare Known as Animal Scientists Welfare-UON(TAS).
The welfare begun in 2014 to cater for the staff welfare issues like;-
Staff hospitalization and General staff welfare.
The office bearers are;-
-welfare chairman
-Vice chairperson
-Secretary
-Vice secretary
-Treasurer
-Welfare patron
-Academic staff representatives
-Technical staff representative
-Audit committee
The welfare is only composed of staff members of the Department of Animal Production.
