VANSOEST FIBRE ANALYSIS (DETERGENT SYSTEM)

Description

The concept behind the detergent fiber analysis is that plant cells can be divided into less digestible cell walls (hemicelluloses, cellulose, and lignin) and mostly digestible cell contents (starch and sugars ). The two components are successfully separated by use of two detergents, a neutral detergent and acid detergent solutions
